Pasta with Bacon and Mushrooms

Ingredients for 4

1 pack HANDL TYROL Fine Bacon Cubes
2 pieces HANDL TYROL Original Kaminwurzerl
1 piece HANDL TYROL Tyrolean Mountain Sausage
2 small onions
200 g brown mushrooms
400 g fusilli pasta
100 g flavourful alpine cheese, grated
Freshly chopped parsley
Canola oil for frying

Level of difficulty:
  1. Peel and finely chop onions. Clean mushrooms and slice them. Cut the Kaminwurzerl and Mountain Sausage into small pieces.
  2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. In a pan, sauté onions with bacon, Kaminwurzerl, and Mountain Sausage in oil until crispy. Add mushrooms and let them cook for 5-10 minutes over medium heat. Add parsley and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the cooked pasta to the sausage in the pan, mix well, and sprinkle grated Alpine cheese on top. Stir until the cheese begins to melt and form strings. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Tip: If you don't have parsley at home, you can also use chives!
