Heart of a good snack - the Tiroler Speck PGI Ham Handl Tyrol AMA Tiroler Speck PGI Ham 100g sliced

Method

Level of difficulty:
Beginner
  1. Remove the cheese wedge from the cheese rind. Position the cheese on the cutting board so that triangular slices are created when cutting. Halve the thin slices into 2 narrow triangles each; these are now the branches of the Christmas tree.
  2. Arrange the cheese triangles on the serving platter/board in the typical Christmas tree shape, determining the size of the entire bacon platter.
  3. Cut long rosemary sprigs in half and place the sprigs between the cheese slices.
  4. For the trunk of the Christmas tree, tie together 5-6 Tyrolini with a pretty string and place them.
  5. Prepare all other ingredients ready to eat. Wash cucumbers and grapes, slice cucumbers unpeeled. Cut the soft cheese into small pieces. Break open the pomegranate and divide it into pieces, cut the Kaminwurzerl into approximately 2 cm long pieces at an angle, cut stars out of the remaining cheese slices with small cookie cutters.
  6. Now fill the Christmas tree from bottom to top as desired, consistently adding green accents with the green ingredients (grapes, cucumbers, olives). For the garland, accordion-fold the bacon, press it down slightly at the bottom, and arrange it in a zigzag on the platter. Lead the garland in a zigzag pattern up to the top.
  7. Decorate the top with a star-shaped Christmas cookie and distribute some eye-catching elements like pomegranate seeds and cheese stars.

In principle, the Christmas tree platter can be filled according to personal preference

The essential elements are the framework of cheese triangles and rosemary sprigs; a few beautiful eye-catching elements like pomegranate seeds, nuts, or figs ensure the wow effect.
