Giant White Bean Spread

Ingredients

2 cans of white beans (480 g drained weight)
Juice of one lemon
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp salt
50 g almond butter
Pinch of chili flakes (optional)

Additionally
Fresh herbs
Sesame seeds
Olive oil

Method

Level of difficulty:
Beginner
  1. Pour the beans into a kitchen sieve, rinse under water, and drain well.
  2. For the spread, put all ingredients in a blender and puree into a creamy mixture. Fill the bean spread into a bowl and refrigerate. Before serving, garnish with olive oil, fresh herbs, and sesame seeds.
